Leather is a wonderful, natural material that can be resilient and often improves with age but must be cleaned with care to ensure its longevity. As such, it is important to try to avoid subjecting your leather piece to extensive heat, humidity, water, or chemicals as all these may damage the integrity of your piece.
For light soiling or spot treatments, dampen a clean cloth and gently rub it across the area to remove the stain. Make sure to air out your piece between wears and do not machine wash.
For cleaning, we recommend taking the piece to a specialist dry cleaner that has experience with leather cleaning. Some leathers may require a spot test to ensure treatment does not remove the finish.
